Consultation and Advocacy (4 hours)
Service Description
A bank of four hours for consultation and advocacy. This time can be used for services such as: *IEP meeting attendance *Consulting with you about reports, documents, or school meetings *Consulting with you about your concerns regarding your child *Attending school meetings *Observation in school settings (depending on district policy) *Drafting emails or letters to school personnel *Consulting with members of your child's IEP team (requires a Release of Information)
Cancellation Policy
Sometimes meetings get changed at the last minute and I know how challenging that can be to navigate. Please give me as much notice as possible if a meeting is going to be cancelled or rescheduled. I need to arrange childcare and have other clients. Please note that I cannot promise any specific outcome when advocating for your child in an IEP meeting. If you book the four hour package and wish to cancel once services have begun, I will keep $75 for every hour used and refund the rest to you. When using advocacy/consultation time, I will keep a log of time used and will share that with you upon request.
